    Default moving to Juneau

Hello, Im a avid hunter from florida who's relocating juneau and trying to figure out what to bring hunting wise with me. I like to hunt everything from ducks to deer, hog.

I mostly stilll hunt and im wondering if I should bring my climber or if it will be useless.

on a side note we've got black bears dow here out the arse i even had one climb my tree while i was siting. Im super stoked about having an oportunity to take one.

    Thanks for the info.

Not too many hogs around in Southeast, except for a blonde and redhead I saw last week.

I've used a climber in Ketchikan, I'm sure it would be fine in Juneau. Might want to get it pretty high if you hunt Admiralty or you'd be like oysters on a half shell for the brownies that are around.

You need to start thinking like you lived on a island in the keys but there was no bridge.

Look up Nick Jans when you get there. Highly experience hunter and should be able to point you in the right direction..............especially for wolves and bears!
    I can't help being a lazy, dumb, weekend warrior.......I have a JOB!
    I have less friends now!!

Raingear and rubber boots come to mind.

August bucks are in the alpine, so some sort of waterproof hiking boot is going to help.

Bring your decoys. And a pair of leather gloves for climbing through the devil's club.

What brings you from FL to Southeast? Coastie?
