Drifter it sounds better when you say over 51,000 entered the river in the last 3 days.
It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.

Blame it all on Drifter! At least he can count. I can't count that high without taking off my socks and shoes.

    Drifter...this site is up-to-date:

    Default Where do i go?

Since this is my 1st (and most likely my last) for reds, where are the best places to bank fish for them?
    Closer to the mouth?
The Kenai/Russian was real slow 2 days ago.
I'm not too familiar with the "hot spots" or how to get there? Was wondering if anyone could anyone help a guy out with some specifics?

    Chuck,
I would give Bing's landing a try, they might be hitting there in solids numbers in a couple fo days.

    *SWEET*!!!!

I'm heading there Sunday afternoon. Any chance a new Emergency Order will increase the daily bag limit back to six per day/twelve in possession?
I'm wanting to spend two days down there and limit out both days.

Looks like we're going to be hitting the Kenai at the right time. We start a 2 day drift on the 20th.

I have a dumb question....how does anyone know exactly how many salmon have come in? I can see that one might estimate 50k have came in but to know the exact number...how can one know for sure.

Fish rolling at the launch at Bing's, and about a dozen being cleaned. Guys walking up from the rapids had limits. A dozen or so fishing Issac Walton, no hits and no rollers.
