Eddie, he looks like the makings of a wonderful 100 pound lapdog. Congrats on the new family member, and the beginning of a whole new set of memories with a new friend.

    Hello Tank!

I would love to know what he was thinking gazing into that camera.

    Awesome man.

Can't wait to show the wife the pic

    Very appropriate name : "Tank"

Congratulations on your new puppy, who by the way, looks very curious and alert like he is part of the family already

Thanks all! I have never seen a puppy that is so affectionate. Lots of eye contact and wants to be by our side at all times. A real lap dog.

I hope that the Husky mix will tone down the possible 200-pounds he could gain in weight. Either way, we will enjoy him no mater how large he gets. My wife, Ronda came up with the name. Perty funny ...we though of Moose and Hank but "Tank" seemed to be original and it fit well.

We will add pics as we go along.

Yes, once the puppy begins to feel secure (part of the family), he or she makes a lot of eye contact. This in turn is quite a nice way for the puppy to show how much he (or she) appreciates the family, and for us to tell how the puppy reacts to us. That's how the puppy will train you

I have seen and viewed on many forums. Lots and lots of photos of pets, dogs & such.

I have never seen a photo of a dog. SO well composed and interesting!!

(what did you say ) ?? The expression and relaxed attitude says more than I could ever find words to use or express.

As usual - fantastic image 4 sure !! (wink).

Thanks "2paws" ...I had forgotten how much of a challenge a pup can be. No worries though, he is whipping us into shape quick like!

Not gonna happen!!!! I got me one O them husky mixes and he is far from mellow and listens when it suits him. Phrases like stay and sit are dealt with much differently than do you want a cookie/treat.
I have been told it can take 5 years for huskies to start to mellow out. He turned 2 last week so only 3 more years to go.
    Enjoy your new fishin'/huntin' buddy!!!!!!

Here he is at 12 weeks.

    And here he is now.

Good lookin' dog Drifter! That pup pic sure reminds me of Tank ...as far as that look goes.

Tank is starting to drive me a little nuts. We keep him in the bathroom when we are at work and looks like I gotta repaint both doors, replace some door trim ...just went to check on him and he was lying on the couch chewing on one of my wifes expensive antique rare glass Fenton baskets ...it appears to be OK, though he has already busted a couple other pieces. Like having a 2-year old child running loose in the house. He minds me but runs all over the wife ...likes to chew on her hands and feet and likes to shred her blouses. She style likes him though. Not sure if I can hold out for 5-years though.

    HA!!!
