So a buddy and I are deployed in Iraq right now but we have both taken a very serious intrest in trapping. We have both read so many books and watched a bunch of videos that we ordered online but still aren't completely confident that we will be doing it right. You know that feeling you got when you take your first hunting trip without you pops, how nervous you got? Well we are heading home in a couple months here and that is the feeling that we are getting right now. Anybody got any advise on how to make sure we get started up right? We have NO personal experiance or hands on learning so any help will be great. Thanks.

The ATA "Alaska trappers association" will be having a trapping class in October. It will be out on chena hotsprings road and will last the whole weekend. I went to it last year and had a great time and learned a ton.

    Default ATA info

All the information regarding the Alaska Trappers Association is available on-line at www.alaskatrappers.org . The site will have all the contact info you'll need in order to get in touch with someone about registration for the class.
