    Default Pictures through a binocular

I saw a guy on a hunting show stick his small digital camera into the one side of his binocular to take a picture. I thought I would give it a try. Below are two pictures off my deck with a Kodak CD1013 through a Pentax 8x binocular. I just hand held both the bino and the camera. I was pretty impressed as the sailboat is about 1/4 mile out and my buddy's house is over 1/2 mile. I zoomed the camera all the way for the house picture. Not bad for a impromtu setup.

    Default I've done it before...

with a 12x for eagles, on a P&S digicam & it turned out better than I though...but not the same as a DSLR & LR lens...

Default Always have my bino's and small camera

So, I just thought it worked pretty well without a fancy zoom lens and the full size camera. I will do more experimenting with my 10 power Leica's, may get better. Saves space at least. Mark
