Default Looking for a place on public land to shoot. Live on Elmendorf

just looking for a good public or private area to go shoot, without breaking any laws or anything. ranges are fine but id rather shoot by myself without any crazy people around. any info please pm me as i wouldnt want them getting shut down either. i pick up my casings, and i hate littering. i live on elmendorf afb but i dont mind driving an hour to a nice spot to go shoot. i own a .44 mag, and a .40 springfield. for now.

Sorry about no folks, get a permit at Ft Rich or Birchwood.. best bet. Rich is pretty quiet when the warriors are gone.

go across the highway down to ft. rich range control, take a 20 minute "video" class....and get ur range card. it's a 300 meter range and like Dave said.....is a pretty quiet place. when no one is around you can shoot field positions, bear defense drills, and CQC. I reserved the place and set up plywood walls/w windows and doors for all kinds of CQC drills.
