I thought long and hard about weather or not to post this but figured I'd go for it. I'm not going to give details but I'm shrimping in NGC waters this year for the first time ever, and I mean literally the first shrimp pots I've set anywhere in my life. I don't know if I'm just lucky or what, I do have 25 years commercial fishing experience, so I do read the bottom pretty well and just have generally good fish sense. But I've read a lot of gloom and doom about shrimping out in NGC, and it is just not true. There are a lot of shrimp out there. Glacier at the head, 450 to 700, steep and deep.....nuff said. Good luck.
