    Default Seward trip

So with my surgery on finger coming up what better thing to do then head out for silvers. 4 of us headed out and what a day it was.
10 Jul I'm having my finger reworked on so this is it for me for a while. Hope you enjoy the video. The first fish was totally by accident. I had not clue this would happen.

I'm headed out to Pony in the next couple of days. What's the hot item? I was thinking about just mooching but should I get some dipsy divers and troll? What is the magic number for depth?

    Great video. Thanks for posting.

We keep passing each other. Last week we chatted in the parking lot at Homer launch. I fished Flat Is. and Pt Adam. This week I, also, fished at Pony on the 8th. Next time I see you out I will give you shout. My boat is a blue and white Boulton.

    Thumbs up Finger

Great video, Gary. Hope the surgery goes well. You'll be back out there one-handed, no doubt. Thanks for sharing the trip. The wife and i plan on going out next week. You've given us hope.

Mooching. We dropped it to the bottom and reeled up real up. We picked up silvers at all depth. The king came about in 80ft.
Trolling we got 2. We cut the small herring in half. Also colored weights seemed to work best

I fished Pony yestereday and it was fish-on as fast as I could keep setting the downriggers. First pass across the point all four lines went before we got the 1st fish in the box! It was like that all day for us. I was running lines from 30-70 and they all were going. No one depth between those was best. Have fun while they are there. I can't wait to get back over there again.
