    Default Throttle/Crusin' Speed

Not so much a fishing boat question. Whenever I'm towing someone ( wakeboard or tube) the throttle will not hold at a certain speed. It will either climb another 5-8 mph, or slow down another 5-8 mph. I would like to tow at 20-22 mph but its like the motor doesn't want to run there. Any suggestions or comments? I know a cruise control would work but I don't wanna buy one. Is there something I could/need to tighten? Thanks

On my Honda 225 there is an adjustment (screw) at the base of the throttle arm that can be adjusted so as to eliminate drift and maintain constant speed control. Hope this is of some help.

    Default Where...?

Do you mean the throttle arm back under the motor housing? Or the throttle up where you sit? Thanks.

Up by where I sit - on the panel mount arm.
