Default Pics with the new raft

I've had my new Alaska Outfitters Professional for about 3 weeks now and have already logged over 100 miles! I LOVE the raft and it fits my rather large family (4 kiddos the wife and I) really well. We did a 4 day float on the Little Su this past weekend and had a blast.

Here are a few pics of recent trips -

Testing it out in the garage right out of the box -

Battling the wind on the Matanuska just north of Palmer -

My 9yo daughter "Rock Surfing" on the Little Su. "Rock Surfing" is where we float next to a boulder above water and a passenger (or the oarsman if he/she is fast enough) jumps out of the boat, climbs the rock and jumps back in before the boat drifts too far away. Lots 'o fun! -

This is what happens when "Rock Surfing" goes bad... My 6yo hesitated and didn't make it back into the boat! Luckily my father in law rescued her when he came by -

The little man giving me a hand -

My girls swimming in the Little Su. Really cold, but they said they were having fun....

My 9yo managed a nice 18-20# bright hen on her trout gear (it was her first king! Too bad the season closed early...)

My little man practicing on the one man cat -

Good stuff man. Lucky kids you have

    AKMUD,

Looks like a great trip. Can't wait to do take my niece and nephew on that trip. The kids swimming downstream reminds me of exactly what Hunt_ak and I used to do with the Conners on the Little Willow. Well atleast until a beaver would swim up to one of us and we'd all freak out and scramble back to the boats.

    Great pics. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the words guys! Buying a raft has been on the list of things to do for quite a while. This year we finally realized we have completely outgrown my in-law's boat so we went for it. I think we will have many years of memories with this one! The kids are already asking when we will go again .
