    Default Quartz creek

First time trip to alaska. I will be spending 2 nights at quartz creek (Kenai Lake) during last week of July. Any advice for bows and Dollies?
I will be fishing the upper Kenia out of Cooper landing the day before moving to quartz. Similar strategies. I'll pick my guides brain, but I'm EXCITED!

by that time period there should be a few kings and some reds moving into that system, where you find the salmon, youll find the trout. Fish every deep run and hole you stumble upon....good idea would be to walk from the sterling highway bridge on down to the campground an all day trip and fun, but better bring your favorite sidearm. I was just at quartz yesterday by the campground, fishing the hole by the bridge and did really well. managed to catch and release 6 big dollies and 1 big bow in 30 minutes, using an egg and flesh imitators. and its not even the right time of year for that.
