    Default AlaskaChucks king trip

So after floating the kenai on friday with ChuckD I took off to talkeetna with june yesterday morning. Steve Mahay and His wife Sharon are friends of ours so I booked a trip again this year. June and I fished yesterday about 300 yards below clear creek. 6 folks in the boat. All of us had multiple hook ups. 4 fish landed. Junes was 28lbs and my little minnow was 10lbs. Here are some pics

    !

For a guy trying to get his wife out fishing more, it is perfect that this happens. My wife does the same thing to me sometimes (most times). What she doesn't realize is I win either way. She catches fish, she enjoys fishing more. She goes fishing more, I go fishing more

Nice pics Chuck. Thanks for posting.

Was that one of those eye licking salmon? Look at the tongue on June's.

Nice catches. Been quit awhile since I have been up that way. On the clear creek side, is there still a tree hanging in the middle just behind a sweet little hole that they hang out in?
