    Default Flies for Southeast

    I've never flyfished for sockeye in the Ketchikan area. Any fly suggestions to try?

    Purple Sockeye Lightnings worked wonders here in Juneau so far this year.

    Red Hots and Sockeye lanterns are also popular.

    Out at Yes bay one summer we were getting them right out of the salt when they were still somewhat aggressive.. well.. aggressive for sockeyes..
    used a little tiny blue midge..
