    Default Haley Creek campground/

Planning a trip to Chitina this coming weekend and was wondering about the status of the Haley creek campground?
Having never been there wondering what its like after the slide.

Campground was not afected by the slide. There are few trees to camp under and a nice sandy beach.

Getting to the campground is the tricky part, but apparently the trail back is in as good of shape than it has been in a few years.

Thanks for the info, we plan on boating to Haley Creek, is there a reasonable spot to tie off a boat or would you advise against it?

    Default no problem

no trouble tieing off.. but be forewarned the river is VERY low.. people are getting stuck.

There used to be (may still be) a cleaning table or two there next to Haley Creek.
