    Default Monarch rivet size??

I have an old 16 foot riveted Monarch. It looks like all the rivets are a standard size, I think Reeve would be the place to get them but I dont know the size. Does anyone know what the rivet size is on all the stringers? Or what a good size is to replace them with. Thanks.

mmmm...I couldn't begin to tell you the rivit size. I would measure the hole first and see what sizes are available. Even if you have to drill the hole slightly larger. I ran into the same problem about 3 years ago on my old smokercraft. I have had no problems with the slightly larger rivets.

    Good luck.

    Default Rivet Size

They are probably 5/32" or 3/16" diameter-length will be thickness of matrl. + 1.5 diameter of rivet. Drill out bad rivet(s) and replace with same size if rivet fits snug, if not go next size larger in diameter.
