    Default Kayak Trip with Family

My father and brother are coming up to visit the end of July/first part of August and are interested in kayaking. I have never been, although I have always wanted to try. I have been looking at a few places online and we are interested in doing sea kayaking maybe down by seward or somewhere we could see glaciers and wildlife. Also, my dad doesn't want to be part of a large group. He would rather it just be us and maybe one guide.

Anyone know of a place we could go or a good guide service we could use? My dad and brother have been kayaking a couple of times. I plan on taking a safety class that the Air Force base offers. So, we don't have a lot of experience but want to find some great places to experience.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would imagine that there are a number of sea kayak tour companies that would put a package together for you. Here's one that I have worked for in the past. http://www.backcountrysafaris.com/info/contact.php

Expect to pay a premium for one guide for two paddlers.
