When does the silver fishing in PWS normally get good? I'm new to sound fishing and was wondering about dates.

Thanks for any information you might be willing to share.

Mid July. My wife and I have had great fishing around the 17th, though it should be decent just a bit sooner.

Weir counts and dates posted for 2008 of course. They are out there now swimming & eating.

Like Piranha said, they are out there now. In years past, we have easily limited out on the E. side of Knight Island as early as this coming weekend. Just depends on how far out you want to go. Go get em!

Hopefully it will not be a bust like last year (for me, at least it was).

Last year was terrible, they never stacked in their normal locations but I was still able to get them...
