Default Where to buy herring oil

Coming up the last of the month to fish for halibut. I want to get some herring oil. I have time to order if needed, but wondered who has the best price???

+1 to this. I've looked around and can never find it.

You can sub sardine oil, or take some cans of tuna packed in oil, not water, and use that for scent as well.

usually find it at sports shed across from the fishing hole in Homer . May also find it in more bulk containers at Gear Shed out East End Rd. Don't know about Anchorage but someplace usually carries it.

    Default Herring oil

Randy at Silvertip in kasilof has it in quarts and gallon sizes. Don't remember the price though.
He buys it in 55 gallon drums and fills his own jugs for sale. They are located on k-beach rd. in kasilof. I usually buy a gallon every year.

Next time I'm down on the KP I'll have to remember to get some. Can't for the life of me find it in Anchorage. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places?

    Default Alaska Bait

I buy all my stuff from them and since they supply most of Anchorage area with there bait, I am able to save a few bucks. Seems to work good.

Default Silver Tip net and gear

On the south end of K-beach it's cheaper if you bring your own jug to fill. Also Soldotna Hardware store they have every thing you would ever need a must stop before ever going fishing
