    Default Kodiak Island

Planning a trip out there this Aug and was wondering if anyone knew of anyplaces that would be able to freeze store my game/fish for a couple of days while I am there?

Go to Cost Savers. They have a walk-in freezer, ask nicely and I think they will help you out. Make sure you have you items well marked and packed.

Default if you're using an air taxi

some of them can supply freezer space, I know Andrews Air has one. be extra careful when it comes time to ship it back - Alaska Air freight cost a group of us 5 deer a few years ago, by leaving it sit on the apron (and this was in November) and by the time it got to ANC it was all spoiled. In August I doubt meat would last a day outside a freezer.

by the way you would'nt happen to know how much they charge for vacum sealing and storing do ya??? a freezer would be real nice because
2yrs. ago i lost alot of meat from keeping it on ice too long and end up spoiling. i would like to plan it better this time around. thanks alot a.k.a ak.barbarian.
