    Default Wanted: fuselage attach brackets

    Posting this for a friend.
He needs some attach brackets for his C-180, Edo 2492870 floats.
His were stolen off his floats this past winter.
    Used or new.
    Thanks
    Paul

    Default Sorry

Sorry people have to be that way and take stuff that ain't theirs. Those are some of the biggest floats I've seen EDO 2492870 floats. Sorry just could not stop my self.

Attach brackets? Do you mean fittings? The rear fittings remain on the airplane. The front fittings (pork chops) don't remain attached to the floats after float removal. Most mechanics will give them back to the owner or put them into a float compartment with other small parts. Perhaps your friend misplaced them? (Been there, done that!) Or his mechanic forgot to give them back? If replacements are required I'd call Aerocet.

    Default The Pork Chop blues

My buddy has them, the blues that is.
He left them on the floats last fall, at least, he insists he did
He found a used set in Nova Scotia at Peck Aero. Expensive brain fart on his part.
