    AT&T Iphone 16G found with a hunting pic as screensaver on it. See my post in the fishing section - Ship creek find.

    If you haven't already, you could try calling people in the phonebook on the found phone, someone who looks like they might know who the phone belongs to. Anyone like "Dad" "Mike" etc... Many of those people would have the phone owners name in their caller ID which would make it a lot easier to find them.

    Great idea. Most phones have a "home" contact in them. I found a phone in a turnoff on the Seward highway a couple years ago and thumbed through it, finding "home." Turns out the people had stopped to look at sheep and dropped it. They picked it up that weekend on their way home from Whittier.

    owner found this afternoon. lost it off the back of his truck. don't think he is a member here though.

    Thats awesome. I found a phone on Fossil Beach in Kodiak over Memorial Day weekend.

    called a home number on it and found the mother of a teenage girl who said her daughter had lost it a week prior. It laid on the beach for a week in the driving rain and still worked.

    I think mom wondered why it was where I found it
