    Default Lake bay yesterday

Ran out to lake bay yesterday and hooked 20+ chums between two of us in 1 1/2 hours. Those are the toughest salmon alive. We kept 12 for bait purposes. Then we spent a little time letting my five year old catch dusky's and other assorted bottom dwellers. While it rained in town it was beautiful in the sound.

Saw you pulling into the harbor yesterday as I made the march to the truck. We were out there the entire week and it the weather was fantastic! I agree, those chum put up one heck of a fight. They eat pretty well, when grilled fresh like the ones pictured, too.

New reg this year for the sound. Perfectly legit. Both pink and chums may be used as bait. They just count against your daily bag limit. I hear they work great for the flatfish.
