    Default Undeadliest Catch....Whittier

With all the stuff going on with the shrimp pot theives, I figured I'd lighten the mood on shrimping a little. This is a little video I put together from myself and some buddies out bear hunting and shrimping a couple weeks ago.

    Enjoy!!

    Default What A Hose Job!

    Alaska_Lanche-

What a 'hose job' . . . and very tolerant crew!
That is, unless you didn't happen to catch the 'mutiny' on film . . .

Oh, and the 'safety drill' -- can't go wrong with those!
    Thanks for posting!

Potbuilder, you are correct they are nice pots and your bait worked good too . As for the Davit I built it out of some scrap with the intention that our Captain will someday buy one of your units (I was thinking ahead). The only thing we may need to get more of are the clips (2 more per pot will be perfect). On a side note our issue with thieves seem to have affected us also. We were not to far from the incident and saw that boat several times. Wouldn't you know it we found our pots about 1/4 mile south and they were empty (we had never been skunked previously). Kudos to Lanche for the video. He was filming and wasn't wearing any rain gear and subsequently with all the nasty weather was drenched at the end of the episode.
