Default Are the kings showing up at the river mouths yet?

I just back into town and was looking at doing some spear fishing at the mouth of one of the streams around here. I was just wondering if anyone had started catching near the river mouths yet so I know if I am wasting my time.

I may be wrong, but I thought spear fishing was not legal in Juneau area?

I dug through the regs and found the following awhile back.
    1) Spear fishing is legal in saltwater only.
    2) Saltwater is defined as starting at the mean low tide mark.
    3) You must be completely submerged when you pull the trigger.
So long as you know about where the water is at low tide and stay on the seaside of that line, you are golden.

Ahhh I did not know that. The only thing I would check on is that sometimes they extend the freshwater line out from the mouth quite a ways. Peterson Creek is an example of that...
