My daughter and I went out thursday after work for a 4 day trip, We both took our bears thursday evening after glassing for I kid you not 2 minutes. I spotted 4 bears and the stalk was on. I wasnt all the way down by knight island but in and near the locations you mentioned. We saw 31 bears in 36 hours, Was unreal and like no other year prior I have experienced. The usual is 21-26 in 3-4 solid days..

I took a buddy and his son out last weekend. We were in Eaglek on Sunday. Saw quite a few bears doing there best mountain goat imitations. I couldn't believe the country they were in. We did get one, but it was a real tough hike. I'm going to be around Knight this weekend with my halibut long-line gear and was hoping to do a little bear hunting to boot.
