Default What's up with salt water kings?

I've been going out of anchor Point since May 10th. Very few spawners. are they that late? Or is it a poor return?

    Default not sure

Good questions. I've only been out once near Anchor Point and I was wondering why there weren't more boats out. Found out after a couple of hours. No kings just a few small halibut for me and my buddies.

    I hope it's just late.

    Default K-Kings

I was out on 5/2 weekend looking for feeders in the bay/bluff and found none in 15 hrs. of trolling in 2 days. Went back out on 5/17 looking for some spawners spent another 17 hrs in 2 days trolling in both bluff and near Anchor with no hits. Also went down to Pogi with no hits. I don't know what to say. I found no fish on the sounder and little to no bait anywhere. Worked near shore and around 60 feet of water. Water temp was near 40 both times.

    Sounds like a no show.

Speaks volumes for what we can expect in the rivers.
