Please tell me that is not a 15 gallon drum. And please don't be pulling my leg that the pict is photo shopped. WOWSA he looks like a monster! Or maybe I've just spent too much time on my bathroom remodel?

    Smile bears

lol no photo shop my friend. That is deffintly not a 15 gallon drum, full 50... A couple miles from the bait station there was a monster griz on the hill side...He made this one look small. I'm a military resident and cant hunt brownies untill AUG09. It would have been an hour and half hike maybe, man i was stoked/bumed i couldnt get him. He stayed there for 5 hours, he was there when i got to my bait stationed and when i left . I called my buddy to go get him but he wasnt there when he got there. Man i wish he was still there and i knew cast&blast woulda smok'd him. He was just bedding up on the hill side soaking up the rays. I just hope he leaves and blackies start hitt'n.

guarantee the first photo is photo shopped. Look at the line along the outside edge of the bear's back. Also, the bear is focused differently than everything else around him.

Don't think so Don. How would you match up the twigs into the bears body.Just looks like a dead branch like all the other dead branches in the pic.

HEY BUDDY, I GUARENTEE THAT AINT PHOTO SHOPED. I've got 14 other pictures to prove it. All from the same cuddeback camera, if it were me I would want to be absolutely positive before calling someone a fake/liar; otherwise I would making false acquisitions while being ignorant and looking silly when I was proved wrong…which will happen when I go home and load the rest of the same bear. It urks me when people have the nerve to chime in like that when obviously there wrong.

That first pix needs a caption. I think it would read.......

YOU'RE KIDDING ME RIGHT? YOU THINK THESE STRAPS ARE GOING TO HOLD. ONE LEFT HOOK AND THEY ARE GONE!!!!!

Nice picture though. I bet you get that spooky feeling when you go check your bait.

You know we talked about the ratchet straps when we first put the barrel up, we thought maybe these will hold, we'll see.(rookies lol ) There is also a red cable running through the barrel if he decides to use the barrel as a punching bag or sharpen his claws on the straps. I heard stories of them beating barrels off the trees even with chains... I guess if I have more pictures of dog food with no barrel we'll know the outcome. It's a little hairy going in there, real thick, pucker factor a little. I guess if my 12 gauge and I are destined to mauled and killed, at least I’m doing what I love.
