    Default Dollies in Juneau

Looking for a good place here in Juneau to take my 10 year old Son fishing for Dollies. Any ideas? We just moved to Juneau in Feb of this year from Oregon, 2nd time living in Alaska love it up here!

    Thanks!

Good place to start would be Twin Lakes. They stock the lakes with dolly size coho and it's a popular place to take kids fishing. The DIPAC dock would also be worth checking out.

OneLung - what are you doing here!? Tide is at 1:43 or something today.

I have an excuse - working on the band stuff, but, otherwise, I'd be chasing that $15,000.00 king!

Depends if you are looking for size or quanity.

Twin lakes is a sure bet for catching allot of fish. Not gonna get any monsters though. The fish in there are dollie size (baby dollie size that is). If you catch anything over 12 inches your doing good.

Echo cove, Tee Harbor, Dipac are all good spots that have potential for 20 plus inch dollies but Dollies move in small schools and you could have 15 minute to 45 minute dead spots until the next school comes by.

I can give you some more detail if you would like. Just PM me.
