Talking Help me get some butt this summer

Figured that title might spark some interest

I'm new to fishing halibut. I have tried the search feature looking for some pics of halibut rigs. I'm sure they are there but I couldn't find much. If there is anyone who has pics or can take pics of there rigs it would be much appreciated. I read lots of description but some pictures would go a long way....for me. I'll be fishing out of Kodiak so if anyone wants to share some general locations....

    Thanks in advance

Do a search through the fishing forum using "leaders" as your key word...I've seen some pics of setups before, and think they were in a thread or two about halibut leaders...

You asked for it. There's a place outside Soldotna. Called Good Time Charlies. Take care.

The second picture is my whole setup I use, I like to use the slider so I can feel the weight hit the bait and can tell after a bite weather I still have bait or just fishin on credit

You will not need a spreader at Good Times.

No, but make sure you get permission before accessing people's holes..
