    Default Scout Lake Rotenone

I was told the other day that fish and game went and applied rotenone to Scout Lake here on the Kenai Peninsula. Is this true I have not been able to find any information on their web page and anywhere else on the net. I did know that they did Arc Lake and if it worked Scout could be next but I thought that this was farther down the line. If you know that they have done this please let me know thanks

    Default Don't think so.

Arc Lake, yes. I'm pretty sure they would have made a big thing about Scout Lake, as it is way more fished than Arc.

Talking Check fish and games website

Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game just planted about 485 6 to 7 inch rainbows in April this year.Odds are real good they are not going to poison the lake til later. As a side note I did catch a few up to 14" last Thursday making sure my boat survived the winter.
