    Default Charter needed for Halibut

Just got home from Iraq. Friend and I need a good charter for this week. Most are booked any free lancers out there.

You might try calling Robbie carroll at Irish Lord charters.

You don't say where you want to head out of, but might try Fish House out of Seward.

Thanks everyone. Got a boat for two. Called every recommended charter. Settled on Irish Lord Charters.

What's the limit on those tasty Irish Lords, anyway?

    Default Lord Irish/Key-O's

Thanks for the Recomendation. Sure beats taking the 2 1/2 hr boat ride out of Seward. I called Lord Irish and fished with Key-o"s. What a frikin awesome time!!! The best trip I've been on. Robbie and his outfit had it all squared away. I'm going again in Aug. Can't wait..

You can't go wrong with Robbie Carroll or Lynn Keogh. Both have been doing it a long time and know what they are doing. Glad you had a good trip.

My cousin has fished with http://www.afishunt.com for years. He has
the highest respect for the owners, captains and deckhands. They will
    put ya on the fish!

I will second and third that recommendation! Used them for the past 3 years for halibut and float trips...cabins, RV park and tent sites...makes the long road trip down worth while. Fish, spend the night, fish and go home. John and Sharon are great folks (Ex-Military, so I think they still give a Mil discount).

    Cheers, Cujo

Thank you for the "ditto," Cujo!

Here is a pic of my cousin with some nice halibut:

John and Sharon definitely know my cousin...Once he is down there
on the Ninilchik campgrounds, he doesn't ever want to leave! He's
been down there a whole week now! And he plans on two more
charter trips before he comes home in a few days...(I hope it is this
weekend, so that he can take advantage of the Kings coming into the
Ninilchik River there...He went out last Sunday night and lost two Pixees,
only hooking into the same log twice in an effort to get the fast moving
kings to bite. Plus the next negative tides are almost here, for those
    who like to clam!)
