    As Drifter would say:

    Glad you caught some fish.

    Fish On!

    Default Ummm... yeah....

probably not the best thing to announce right before one of the biggest fishing weekends if you are planning on being there.

Exclamation The parking lots going to be full now!

Just to let you know since the cat is out of the bag. The first 2 Kings were caught on April 30. I'll be back on the Kasilof after this weekend. Tight lines and be safe.

    Thumbs down Memorial Weekend

I hope I dont hurt any feelings when I say that, realistically, the crowd will be huge, and the fishing will be slow, at best. Be prepared for packed to the hilt campgrounds.

I just got back from the Crooked Creek area, and the fishing was slow, or no, it was dead. I asked around as well and sounds like no one was having much luck this morning. Beautiful weather though.

Word on the street is that the fishing is slow and that the timing of the run will probably be like last year - a bit on the later side.

Not saying you won't get any fish on The Ditch now, but I wouldn't expect it to be En Fuego, either.
