Boondock Sporting Goods in Eagle River. They've got a very helpful staff, great prices compared to many competitors, and they're local here in Eagle River.

Another vote for Boondocks. It seems they are one of the few gun shops that doesn't treat the customer like an idiot. They also usually have some interresting items on their sale counter when you enter the store.

Honestly, when i was down in Anch, i visited Alaska Tactical at least once a week. They were always good with advice and not pushy about buying anything. Not to mention they were willing to custom order stuff for me.

Currently, I keep going to Pro Tek. Bill over there really knows his stuff. If i cant figure something out, odds are he'll know what it is and what lil part is needed to fix it.

I guess I like most of the Anchorage and Eagle River gun shops. At one time or another, I think I have bought something from each and every one. I actually prefer the gun shows over gun stores buy a huge margin, and will do 95% of my actual gun buying at the shows.
