    Default Caribou Hunting

Does anyone know if the Caribou are up on the haul road?

Hard to say for sure, but I bet they cross over it occasionally.

Jerod might be able to shed some light if he has been down the road recently.

I haven't been down lately, but filled my last tag on the 30th just south of pump station 2. Truckers said they were down by Toolik, so I was prepared for a long night, but found one of the lead herds. I'd imagine that bou are getting pretty far north by now, probably quite a few in the flats. Season doesn't open until July 1st, so updates now won't do much good as far as hunting goes.
