    Thumbs up Juneau Blackie

Son and I went looking for a big one Tues. Big one or a color phase, or nothing. Well, he found a beauty.

Will finish fleshing today, but guessing 7'3"-7'6". Skull is 19 1/4.

Sweet! Congrats to your son. Those bears around Juneau don't really get the big noggins like some other places. We killed a 7 footer on mothers day years ago that had a mid 19" skull. You'd think a bear that size would be at least in the 20's.

    Great looking bear.

Great bear! The smile on your son's face says it all. Well done.

Default Good for you, nice big old bear

That's a good one. Bears like that aren't very easy to catch flat footed, NICE JOB!
