    Default Alexander Lake

I'm headed to Alexander Lake in a couple weeks lookin for some pike. Anyone have suggestions as to what lures worked particularly well. I have some dare devles, jointed rappalas, and floating frogs....

Any thing top water that has a mean swagger to it, like a j-plug. I had my best luck with something in a tiger striped green.

Bucktails work to, but I learnt that when they get hit by anything over 35"s once or twice, they get pretty kinked up.

And don't be shy about going big.

Get some weedless lures. I don't know if the lake is shallow all over, but you might get some of the suspending Rapala's.
