    Default First blackie has arrived.

Checked the bait station today. The first black bear has arrived. The date is off on the camera so don't go by it. Time is correct.

I'll set on the stand starting on Friday. We'll see what happens.

The brownie has come back in twice but has left after only a few minutes. I made the hole 4" across and unless the brown can shake the barrel he can't get any bait except a very little right at the hole. I don't think this guy is huge but I'll start sitting on the stand tonight or tomorrow. LuJon I have had trouble with the browns smashing all of my barrels in the past. I board member was good enough to give me this keg last summer and I don't think that it will be smashed. Plus I have to carry it in for 2.5 miles so being aluminum is very nice.

    Default bear

Awesome feeling to check the camera and see a blackie on it. I checked my bait out on the refuge last nite no hits yet, I did have a small blackie cross the road in front of me though on the drive in. Ganna check again this weekend it will have been out a week on saturday, I should have some action by then.

    Default Nice Bear

Hope to see the dressed out pics soon. That's a definite cross-hair contender!

    Good luck.

It's a three year old cheaper Moultrie. 3 megapixel. Takes good photos. It took over 1200 last year of mostly brownies.
