    Default 20B or 20A moose?

Anybody hunt around 20B and 20A for moose? Im coming back to AK after two years in OK. Those are the areas I frequented and was curious if there have been any drastic changes in the population or habitat. Im pre-planning for this year and hoping it will be the same way it was when I left. I have read several articles on increased brown bear presence and wondering if it had an impact on the moose season. Thanks for any info.

    Default Moose

Went bison hunting in the area last year and there was a more moose than you could count. Should not be a problem getting one. Got a tag? What area of Ok? Fort Sill maybe? Was there in the early 90's

I'd take a good look at the hunting permit supplement and check out all the new drawing hunts they have in units 20A and 20B. Lots of cow permits for areas right around Fairbanks.

    that is 20 D,

lots of cows and sub bulls there too..

20A is still under heavy managment . drastic changes?

other then a huge increase in hunters in accessable areas, complete lack of big moose, and fewer cows? to many bears, lots of wolf,

    not much...

pull up the spring supp. there are tons of new hunts to put in for.
i would not waist my time trying to pull a 50 incgh or four BT from any area that has road access.. you need an any bull tag or cow tag.
