    Default Temp boat registration???

I just bought a 14' inflatable and a 25 hp merc. I need to get it registered. I get off work on the 13th and am heading out to PWS with it on the 14th. So no time to stop by the DMV(unless I REAALLY have to) but I would like to get a temp registration to keep everything on the up and up. Is there a way to do this online, or do I have to go to the DMV to get it registered??

    Thanks

I think for the intial reg U have to show in person. Just did it, get there early in the morning, it took us ten minutes tops.

Not much required at the DMV...just a bill of sale (or receipt, if the boat's new). the info is here:

    Default Temporary Boat Registration

Did a little research online, and came up with a printable temporary boat registration. It is good for 60 days and must be carried with you. With just a little luck you could probably coast through one of our short Alaskan boating seasons.......The temporary registration can be found at: http://alaska.gov/dmv/forms/pdfs/pdf
