Default Shots from 5-3-09 Talkeetna run

As usual my pictures turned out blah due to the extreme sun that day but here are a few.

Still very nice photos, considering that the light was not working on your favor.

Something I like on landscape shots are clouds on the sky, but this year the sky has been bare (just sunlight).

We went to about .5 mile before the big turn to the left before the gourge. Ran up sheep river about 1.5 miles till the ice got bad and ran up a clear creek channel about 1.5miles to a couple big trees in the way. I think we could of made it up past them but coming down would of been butt puckering!

TJM (Toshiro) just picked up my video camera to make the video portion of the trip. Tell ya what, sitting up in the top chair trying to video and hang on was a BLAST! I think between the both of us shooting we should have some cool shots.

Thanks, it was very bright out and my little Sony cybershot is no match for the bigguns you and a few others use,lol...... Hopeing to change that real soon though.

I agree, clouds in the sky help make for a great photo op.

If I had to pick I think these 2 shots are my favorite of the day.

I really like the second one, but these two are very nice shots.

That shot of the railroad bridge in Talkeetna?

Here it was just 3 weeks ago when I was there. Seems spring is here.

That would be the one. Wish the water was that clear for us! Nice shot.

No fish, no bears, just sunshine. Maybe next time.
