    Default PWS Report

Just spent 4 fantastic days on the sound so here is the report:
Shrimping is still good and they still taste really good.
The rockfish are still out there and fresh out of the water are still fantastic eating.
The snow is going fast and the grass is getting green on the beaches so the bears ought to be moving.
We saw one boat in 3 days after leaving Valdez narrows and he was about a mile away cruising by.

Weather - A couple pictures describe it better than I ever could!

Is the train taking trucks with trailers through the tunnel?
Looks like you had a great weekend!

I don't think so, check the thread about the tunnel. Someone talked about the train/truck situation.

I would have to agree with you. Words could never explain those pictures. Glad to see you made it out and got to share a little of your experience.

Where is your sense of humor - you should be kind and a little more honest and tell us the real story - what kind of software did you use to delete the clouds and rain showers from your pics? Can't be...

Ok - there was some fog one of the days. The shrimp were big and here is a picture of a true stud!

Those are great pics, PWS at its best! That's a whomping big bull sea lion too! What's the gas price at the fuel dock in Valdez?

That bull was definetly the king - He dwarfed everything around him in size. I didn't check on the fuel prices - Filled up in Fairbanks before I left and stayed out on the sound so no refills required.

That's the biggest otter I've ever seen.
