Memorial day in the lynx lake canoe system. I was fishing with rod and reel, but the fish were abundant. A lot would follow a lure in and sit in shallow water and not bite. To might try have a friend fish for them, and you stand beside him and shoot the followers. Or you could just cruise the weed beds near shore and "spot and stalk". Good luck.
It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.

    Dave and Dave

Guys bowfishing is a ton of fun! The stabilizer mounting hole on your Kodiak hunter works great for mounting a reel, David.

Dave I think your bow has a stabilizer port as well....if not I have a bow or two that dose you could borrow.

A combined bow and fly rod trip might be something we should look at.

I'm assuming the Lynx Lake being referred to is the one that's part of the Nancy Lake Canoe Trail system near Willow.

Home Dave it can be done. I seen this post last week, and I am new to the penninsula. So I just had to give it a try. Two in the boat and several miss's. All in all a pretty good day..A little sun burnt A boat is defenatly the way to go. I tried bank fishing on Saterday and I kept sinking so deep in the mud that I lost my view onto the water. Need to be up high looking down PM me if your still interested. Works better with two people. One to shoot and one to controll the boat.

her is a pick of the ones I poked.

Yesterday was such a nice day I had to go back for some more.
The wind was blowing pretty hard but I manage to find a few.
