Does anyone know of an indoor archary range in Anchorage. Just looking to make sure old betsy is still dialled in after the move up here. I live in town so I can't just go shoot in the yeard. otherwise I would.

Black Sheep Bowmen on Elmendorf AFB has an indoor range. You have to be a member, (civilians can be members) and submit a little paperwork to get a pass for the base. Their website is: www.blacksheeparchery.com

Bill and some of the guys there have recently (meaning a few weeks back) rebuilt the targets, getting ready for league night. Not sure of what day of the week it is. Give him a call. Also a little plug for Black Sheep, indoor tournment shoots are on Thursday evenings. They are doing something differnent this year. The league is going to be giving prizes away at the end of the year. Goodies range from gift certificates to sportsmans warehouse, to a treestand and other stuff. You get a raffle ticket each shoot you attend and at the end of the tournment season they do the drawing. Each shoot you attend the better your odds of winning.
