Default Question: 350 Rem MAG and the Barnes TSX

Wondering if anyone has any hands on experience with loading Barnes 225 TSX's in a Remington 350 Mag? My main concern is with my rifle I cannot go over the max COL of 2.800. I have a short magazine. I can shoot 200's no problem but I would like to work up a little heavier bullet for this gun(Remington 673). If the Barnes 225's do not work because it has to be seated to deep has anyone found any heavier bullets that work with this short length? Thanks!

    Will,

I have an old Rem 600 Mohawk in 350RM. I settled on the 225 TSX for my best load, took it to Africa, it did the J-O-B.

I don't have all my load data handy, but I can't imagine my magazine will hold particularly long OALs either. Can give you more data later if you wish.

I didn't try every single bullet available, but this one worked well. That said, I'll still probably tinker with other bullets in the future.
