Nebraska and I'm using the Rage BH. The producer said I should use them on a turkey. He has taken the Grand Slam with them. Along with doing some research, I found this BH to be one of the top favorites for Turkey hunters. I have never used a Expanded BH. I will say it shoots line a field tip.

Watch out man..I just got from California hunting turkeys for the first time and I AM HOOKED!!!!! My buddy's 11 yr. old shot a super tom on day 1. I called three toms in from 300 yards away for my 13 yr. old daughter and she smoked a jake with her 20 guage at 20 yards. I told her to shoot the one on her right..a nice long beard but she misunderstood and shot the jake. No big deal it was a ton of fun. It was so much fun that I borrowed her shotgun and got one myself in the afternoon. Too bad I only brought my target bow along for Redding on the trip. I will not make that mistake again. I'll be back down there next spring for sure

My daughter Katerina on the left and her friend Erin on the right. Erin and her big tom in the other pic.

Turkey's are a tough game animal, strong, hard to kill and very easily spooked. They are about the smartest game bird I can think of(wonder how domestic one got so dumb, not even the same critter) Kinda like hunting whitetail that has improved vision, only your kill zone is about the size of a tennis ball. I'd highly recommended spending a little time with a turkey 3-d target with the kill zone marked, there vitals are much higher than you'd think and I've seen birds fly off with an arrow stuck dead center of there body. I aim just below the base of the neck.

Who knows. I have to focus 100% on this hunt. I'm one of the 2 bow hunters in the group. Others have gone with a gun.... Cowboys VS. Indians.

I will PM you his number. When you get finished stalking and killing your turkey and have time, give him a call. He will take you out fishing. Good luck Gary.
