    Default kasilof river steelhead

    went down to crooked creek and fished about two hours. Seen two fish caught. One around 24" and the other 32". Was around a ten guys down there. Going to give it another shot tonight.

    yes if the ramp is open to pull out. Not sure when cohoe cove opens up.

    everyone is fishing from shore. Went down last night and seen four caught in two hours. Everyday is getting better and beter. I hooked into one and lost it about 30 sec later. Sure is nice to have something pulling on the other side of my line.

    went out for early bite caught three lost two others seen about two dozen caught in two hours

    We went down Friday for a bit, nothing between three of us. Sounds like the bite was certainly on earlier today though.

    careful posting steelhead pics cause you're not suppose to take them out of the water, and there are many forum members that'll crucify you for doing it. just trying to keep everyone out of trouble.

    Hey Wack....from Arizona's 95 degrees to landing some monster steelies! Get it done on Sunday will ya! I hear the Orange painted 12mm with a copper John is the way to go.

    floated this weekend. the ramp at the bridge requires a rope to pull your boat out and over the ice... putting in at the bridge would be interesting. weather was amazing and fishing wasn't bad either.
