    Default Trolling Flies

Those of you who tie flies, would you post pics of flies you troll with? I had a great friend in Kodiak who used to tie some that looked just like sandlances. I have a few left but it has been years since he moved to Vegas and has moved around enough we have lost contact. Anyone willing to see if they can duplicate one? I have had others try, but haven't found any that come close. They seem simple enough, which is why I think they work so well. I would love to see some pics of others too.

I imagine you are talking about saltwater, but I do ok in freshwater trolling these
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

Give us a photo of this fly and let's have a go.

Love a challenge. Love to tie.

    Default Will do

Sorry I didn't get back on to answer this. I will did into the tackle box and take a photo. Would love to see what you come up with! I don't tie my own, no patience for it. I can sit in a boat for hours but have no patience sitting in front of a vise.
