    Default Easter on the Muskeg

    Hello,

The weather here in southeast turned for the better on Sunday. My daughter and I spent the morning on a muskeg looking for 'flowers' and the Easter Bunny. Good fun.

    Happy spring and happy Easter.

Nic pix. BTW, what kind of raingear is your daughter wearing!? Looking for some good paddling/hiking raingear for my kids for this summer

    Default Kid Raingear

    Hello,

Thanks for the comments on the photos. We had fun. Playing with a new macro lens. Hiked out on the muskeg with tripod only to find out I forgot the camera plate for it. Silly. Shot some handheld pictures.

The rain gear is great stuff. Hose her off and head inside. We found it in a store called Moutntain Baby somewhere in BC.

Thanks for the info--wish I'd known about those Tuffo suits a few years back--my kids are all too big for them now!

Your daughter sure looks cute exploring the muskeg--get's me excited for our summer trip to Prince William Sound!

    Thanks Tull and Kingfisher,

My daughter and I have been spending our Sundays on the muskegs playing with my new macro lens. I have been crawling around nose to the ground and she is getting bored with me.

Ha, she does look bored! Funny. Maybe you should find her an inexpensive digital camera with a macro setting. That just might keep her interested.

    Great shots man.

The girl looks deep in thought to me.

Working up a good turd, thinking about the Hanah Montana show she is missing, dreaming of mac and cheese, normal kid stuff. Ha ha ....

    Those were the simple days

    Default Turds

    Hehe,

Probably not too far off Dan. We are, unfortunately, at the life juncture where we are talking turds several times a day. Luckily that problem did not present itself on this outing. The Hanah whatever show will have to wait as we do not have TV. Tull I like the idea of getting her an inexpensive camera to play around with on our outings. That could be fun.
