    Just curious I never have gone before any info will help.

    The best time to hunt is when the guides are not running boat loads of hunters for days on end between the best spots and the docks. This normally goes on for most of the summer so you will have to find a spot that is not over run with people.

    It all depends when the snow melts. Usually Mid May to first week in June is when I head out. Like eagleriver24 said it can be crowded with allot of hunters. So pick a couple of areas that look good to you as a back up plan..
    The farther you get out the less amount of hunters you will have.

    Now would not be a good time, did you hear about the cave in? It is going to take 3 days to clear it, boulders the size of trucks!
