    Default Input on ARMSCOR Bullets

Anybody have experience with ARMSCOR bullets (made in Phillipines)?

I just bought 1000 62 grain FMJs from MidwayUSA because the price was right, but I've never used them before.

    Default Armscor

About 10 years ago I bought a bunch of Armscor .22WMR on sale. Twice in 8 rounds I only got a partial burn and the bullet lodged in barrel. Luckily I payed attention to the reports. I dumped the ammo, and now stay away from anything with ARMSCOR associated with it. Could a been a bad lot, but who needs a missing eye or finger?

Default ten years ago and loaded ammo

but he was asking about bullets for reloading and the ones he mentioned, the ones I bought from Graf & Sons were fine with my favorite load.

    Default Thanks

    Thanks AKKCChief, good to know.

Since I've got a thousand coming, I hope the bullets themselves are decent. I'll load a few and post a range report.

I know you get what you pay for, so I'm not expecting miracles. Hopefully they'll be good enough for when they come over the wall, so to speak.

By the way mauserboy, what's that favorite load of yours (hope it's 223)?
